slipping away

Well, the Tigers are certainly in a big hole, being down 3 games to 1, with game 5 tonight. Jeff Weaver, who got the loss for the Cards in game 2, goes against Justin Verlander, who got the loss for the Tigers in Game 1. As for last nights game, we gave up 3 unearned runs, and lost by 1 run. The unearned runs were scored by Granderson slipping in Center field, followed by a throwing error by Rodney, which scored a run, and set up a second run. The final run came due to a runner advancing to 2nd on a passed ball, and a hit that was off the webbing of OF Craig Monroe's glove scored the guy from second. Oh, well, good luck to the Tigs tonight.
